Welcome

On behalf of the TROG Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) Organising Committee, we welcome you to our 36th ASM which will be held 12 - 15 March 2024 in our home city of Newcastle, NSW.

In 2023, our ASM was hosted in the chilly, but vibrant Adelaide. In 2024, we thought we would go back to our roots, so we’re heading home to Newcastle. There we’ll gather at the Newcastle City Hall, located in the middle of King Street, near a range of trendy cafes and restaurants, pristine beaches and parks. It’s a historic building which will be the perfect venue for our delegates to meet.

TROG membership has grown to over 1600, the ASM will host more than 250 delegates from Australia, New Zealand and beyond, making for an excellent networking and research engagement opportunity.

The ASM Program Committee is developing a diverse and innovative program which will include collaborative workshops, scientific sessions, showcasing ongoing clinical trials, discussions of new clinical trials and future research strategies. Plus, the ever-popular gala dinner and welcome reception will be held to facilitate social engagement.

We all agree there is nothing like personal connections. We hope you will join us in our home city as we are excited share Newcastle, its beautiful surrounds and all it has to offer to delegates for the TROG 2024 ASM in March 2024.
