Full membership is extended to anyone fully qualified in their discipline. If you are a radiation oncologist, medical oncologist, radiation therapist, interventional oncologist, medical physicist, statistician, data manager, nurse, or surgeon, we welcome your input.

FAQ

  • The registration dashboard is a unique online system, which provides delegates with an effective and efficient way to register and look after all aspects of the conference themselves prior and post conference. You can re-visit your registration dashboard at anytime to add social function tickets, add/amend your extras, book or amend your accommodation, make payment, edit/begin your abstract or download your invoice.

    If you have previously registered for a conference run by ASN, you would have more than likely developed your own 'registration dashboard'. If so, when registering for this conference - please enter your email and password under 'returning delegate', and click the event you want to register for.

    If you are new to the system you will need to set up your own registration dashboard by clicking on 'register as a new delegate'. Once you have filled out your details, you will have now developed your own 'Registration dashboard'.

  • A secure site is provided for online payment of your charges. This has its own section on the ‘dashboard’. The payment options are:

    - Credit card - Visa or Mastercard (1.25% surcharge applies) or AMEX (2.95% surcharge applies) is accepted.

    - Direct debit (you will be emailed banking instructions upon application).

    An Australian Tax Invoice will be provided for all attendees once registered. You can reprint your receipt and various ither documents from your ‘dashboard’ at any time.

    The ABN for the conference is 90 093 246 176. All rates quoted include GST and are in Australian dollars. All online registrations are checked by the secretariat. If there is any query they will contact you. If you wish to make changes or additions after you have registered, return to your ‘dashboard’.

  • Should your circumstances change, and you are unable to attend the conference, you must contact ASN Events via email (fiona.c@asnevents.net.au) no later than 35 days prior to the commencement of the conference.

    A cancellation fee of $100.00 will apply to cover administration costs incurred in relation to your registration. Should you cancel less than 35 days prior to the commencement of the conference, no refund will be payable.

    In accordance with the above policy, cancellations made:

    Before Tuesday 6 February 2024 will be eligible for a full refund less $100 cancellation fee.

    On or after Tuesday 6 February 2024 will not receive a refund, however, delegate substitution is available.

  • In the event you are unable to attend the conference, substitution of your registration is available to an unregistered colleague or friend by writing via email to ASN Events.

    Any reimbursement for registration and additional costs must be sought directly with the new attendee.

  • All registering delegates are required to read and accept the events Terms and Conditions to complete their registration.

  • Due to the amount of publicly available information on conference and institution websites, some committee members and conference speakers are being contacted by third party companies, often from overseas, purporting to be event managers who request to secure accommodation or flight bookings. These requests always ask for financial information or credit card details and will generally be quite pushy in their attempts. Firms claiming to be legitimate accommodation and travel agents for your event, such as Business Travel Management and e, are not endorsed or authorised by the conference organisers. They are actively trolling event webs and trying to match invited speakers and committees with personal details often found on their own institute websites.

    Please note, ASN Events will never ask a third party to retrieve credit card or financial information from you without prior personal arrangement with yourself and an ASN staff member.

    Where any payments are required ASN Events will send through an invoice with remittance details which contains full ASN Letterhead, completed by an ASN Staff member and will always be from an @asnevents.net.au email address.

    If for any reason you are unsure of the legitimacy of a requested payment, you should always contact your ASN Events Project Manager.
